I’m Sommer
Born & raised in Hardin County, Iowa. This is my full-time job and passion. I am a CPP (Certified Professional Photographer), an impulsive dreamer with a giant sized heart, a farm wife, MAMA, a lover of light, and one of those crazy animal ladies you’ve been hearing so much about. I’m a hugger. Watch out! I have this huge need to create. I see things in light and moments and detail and am wildly inspired by people and connection. I completed my AAA Degree in Professional Photography at HCC in May of 2011. My portfolio was awarded the Heart & Soul award and was at the top of my class. I worked side by side my mom, Kelly for 7 years. We officially launched Images By Mosch in 2010. Years later, I am still passionate about this industry and adore the people I get to work with. Documenting your moments is genuinely the best job ever! Many times I'm chasing the sunlight until it goes down, soaking up every last minute of the glorious golden light with you.
The Photography Studio
The photography studio is located in New Providence, Iowa but I travel all over the state. The studio is small but has a warm and relaxing environment where clients can make themselves at home.

How would you describe your style?
I love my clients. I love that everyone is completely different from the next. My goal is to capture events as they unfold, real moments and emotions as well as the nice formal images for grandparents. I try to blend in and document what is naturally occurring and direct a few poses for the more formal images. As far as wedding photography I believe your day is a personal story about you and your relationships with the people you love. I am there to document those relationships. My style is very much documentary story telling with a mix of romantic portraiture.
How and when do we receive our photos?
Approximately 3-4 weeks after your session you will get your digital images through a online gallery. During this time, I will guide you on how to create the best quality artwork out of your favorite portraits. Don't want to print your own prints? No problem. Ask me for my full product pricing booklet. For weddings my couples will receive their online galleries up to 8 weeks after their big day. All wedding collections include digital galleries with print release.
What can we expect to pay?
Clients will invest anywhere from $600 & up. Each session includes a digital gallery with print release. Clients can also purchase canvas wraps, albums, and many other beautiful art pieces if they wish. Weddings start at $3000.
